How to remap a Network Drive 1. Click Start, then Run. In the run dialog box type \\ followed by the name of the computer containing the shared drive.
2. You will now be prompted for the Username and Password for this system, be sure to put a check in the box to save the username and credentials.
3. Right click the directory you want to map and select “map network drive”
4. Select the drive letter you wish to use for the new network drive and click finish
5. You have now remapped a network drive
